What TB-500 is, and how it is meant to work
TB-500 is a lab-made piece of thymosin beta-4, a protein your body and a dog's body already make. Thymosin beta-4 helps damaged tissue repair in two ways that matter for an injury: it acts as a signal that pulls repair cells toward the site of damage, and it encourages new blood vessels to form so that repair has a supply line. Those are well-described actions in cell and animal models, which is why TB-500 gets reached for on muscle tears, tendon and ligament strains, and post-injury recovery.
Why it is stacked with BPC-157
Owners rarely run TB-500 alone. The common pairing with BPC-157 - the Wolverine stack - is built on the idea that the two cover different repair jobs: BPC-157 for connective tissue and gut, TB-500 for muscle and tendon. It is a plausible-sounding division of labor, and it is worth being clear that no trial has tested the combination in dogs, in any other animal, or against either peptide alone. The stack is a community protocol, not a studied one.
Dosing reality
TB-500 is usually described with a loading phase and then less frequent maintenance dosing, scaled to body weight - but the specific numbers are community figures with no veterinary-established dose behind them, and they vary more between sources than BPC-157's do.
